It’s easy to see why some of England’s most famous painters were inspired by Suffolk’s picturesque villages and unspoilt coastline. Enjoy a guided tour of Suffolk’s pastel-coloured towns and villages, whose timber-framed houses and thatched roofs make this area so unique. We visit Sudbury, Long Melford and Lavenham where we include a visit to its historic Guildhall. A visit to nearby Dedham, home to the Munnings Art Museum and an art and craft centre, and East Bergholt are also included.  We take a nostalgic visit to Colchester, officially Britain’s oldest recorded town.  Finally, we have an excursion to Suffolk’s Heritage Coast and the pretty coastal town of Aldeburgh. In the afternoon, we enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Deben, which makes a lovely way to round off your holiday.
