Day 1
You will be collected from your home and travel north into Scotland with suitable comfort stops along the way before arriving at your overnight hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2
After breakfast, our journey continues north through the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, where dramatic mountain scenery, peaceful lochs and sweeping glens provide unforgettable views along the way.
Travelling deeper into Wester Ross, enjoy some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery before arriving in the picturesque harbour town of Gairloch, your base for the next four nights. After settling into the hotel, there will be time to relax and enjoy the wonderful coastal surroundings before dinner.
Day 3
Inverewe Garden and Gairloch
Today you will enjoy a short scenic journey with a local operator, allowing your driver a well-earned rest day, as you travel to the magnificent Inverewe Garden.
This remarkable garden is home to an incredible collection of exotic plants and flowers that flourish unexpectedly in the Highland climate thanks to the warming Gulf Stream. Explore the beautiful gardens and discover Inverewe House, now an interactive museum.
The remainder of the day is free to relax and enjoy the attractive harbour town of Gairloch.
Day 4
Ullapool and the North Coast Scenery
Today offers the chance to experience part of Scotland’s famous North Coast 500 route. Admire stunning Highland scenery including Gruinard Island, Little Loch Broom and the dramatic mountain landscapes surrounding the region.
Travelling via the spectacular Corrieshalloch Gorge and the Falls of Measach, continue to the picturesque fishing village of Ullapool, where admission to the local museum is included. There will also be free time to browse the village’s independent shops and enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting.
Day 5
Scenic Rail Journey and Plockton
A full day exploring the breathtaking scenery of Wester Ross awaits today.
Travelling along Loch Maree beneath the impressive Slioch and Beinn Eighe mountain ranges, you will arrive at Achnasheen to board the train for one of Scotland’s most scenic rail journeys to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Admire spectacular Highland views, sea lochs and mountain scenery before rejoining the coach and visiting the charming village of Plockton, beautifully positioned on the shores of Loch Carron.
Final Day
After breakfast, we begin our comfortable journey home.
Suitable stops will be made along the way before returning you safely to your front door with fond memories of your Highland adventure.
