A mid-week tour combining a relaxing cruise along the Grand Western Canal, a railway journey, and time in the coastal resorts of Somerset and Devon. Enjoy tea and scones which will be served on arrival at the hotel.  A morning in Tiverton gives us some free time before a gentle canal cruise by horse-drawn barge. Join the West Somerset Railway (Britain’s longest steam railway) at Bishop’s Lydeard, for a scenic ride through the Quantock Hills to the resort of Minehead and, here too, we will have some free time. A tour of the delightful villages of Devon is next on the list as we head North to the market town of Barnstaple, with an interesting stop at the Quince Honey Farm en-route.
