Hidden Corners of Yorkshire

We proceed over the moors, across Blakey Ridge, and through the lovely Hutton-le-Hole to Pickering. Here we board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a steam train ride through rocky moorland to Whitby, passing through Goathland. We board the Wensleydale Railway for a nostalgic ride through rural landscapes from Leyburn to Leeming Bar. Today's destination is Preston Park and Hall Museum. The museum is set in beautiful grounds and includes a lovely collection of historical antiques. At Preston Hall, we board the 'Teesside Princess' and take a calm cruise on the River Tees through lovely scenery to the cobbled town of Yarm, noted for its location within a horseshoe bend in the river.
