A warm Highland welcome awaits you at the recently refurbished, handsome and magnificent Grant Arms Hotel, home of the Bird Watching and Wildlife Club, awarded a gold star for scoring in the top ten percent of its star rating, and where former visitors include both Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. Located in the fine Scottish country town of Grantown on Spey, not far from the famous Spey River, where only the very best local produce is use, taste a Speyside Malt Whisky in the Capercaillie Bar and enjoy the stunning backdrop of the Cairngorm Mountain Range.

Day 1

Morning departure as we travel north to the beautiful Cairngorms region, arriving at the Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown on Spey, where you will be staying for four nights with dinner and breakfast included each day.

During Your Stay

Your holiday will include a visit to the Braemar Highland Games Centre, where you will learn about the traditions and heritage behind Scotland’s famous Highland Games.

You will also explore the historic Cawdor Castle and Gardens, enjoy a scenic cruise across the legendary waters of Loch Ness and witness a traditional working sheepdog demonstration set against the stunning Highland landscape.

Further highlights include visits to Ballindalloch Castle and the fascinating Highland Folk Museum, where costumed interpreters bring Scotland’s past to life through restored buildings and engaging displays.

Final Day

After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin the return journey home, with suitable comfort stops along the way.
