Right on the heels of his 2024 tour dates, the new dates for Andre Rieu’s 2025 shows are released and he is coming back to the Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on Saturday 10 May 2025.  Best known for having brought together the Johann Strauss Orchestra, a musical movement dedicated the waltz style, Rieu is now widely considered one of the world’s most successful classical acts still working; that’s certainly something that’s true in terms of his live shows, which generally see him play to packed out arenas around the world - the kinds of venues usually reserved for pop and rock acts. Since 1987, he’s been flanked by his Johann Strauss Orchestra, which now can boast anywhere between eighty and 150 musicians, depending on the performance. Their mastery of the waltz has led to Andre Rieu being dubbed the ‘waltz king’.  Don’t miss your chance to see this legend live.

* Please ensure you are able to negotiate some stairs, there are a lot of them at Resorts World Arena, Birmingham.

* There are a minimum of 29 stairs to negotiate before you get into the seated areas and this gets you to row G.

* For every row higher than row G there are 2 x steps per additional row.

* There is at least a 10 minute walk from the coach park at the NEC.

* Please note that if guests bring their own walking aids or wheelchairs, the venue can store them away safely for the duration of the show.  

* For anyone confined to a wheelchair we can request specific accessible tickets - these are seperate to the standard tickets and one a request basis first come first serve.

Area’s in pink Floor Blocks D/E/F ( no steps)  blocks 8/9/10 – can be accessed from the floor not many stairs. Blocks 4/5/13/14  there are a minimum of 29 steps to climb to reach row H – then there are 2 steps per row for anything higher than row H.
