Day 1
After departure from your pickup point, we will make our way to Richmond for some time to explore this wonderfully historic market town. After ample time here, we will make our way to the hotel.
Day 2
Today, we will make our way to Cragside House and Gardens, the world's first home to be lit by hydroelectricity. The pioneering house was envisioned and brought to life by Victorian inventor, Lord Armstrong and is packed full of gadgets for efficient and modern living, whilst the gardens are adorned with man-made lakes and waterfalls. After ample time to explore, we will then make our way to Alnwick for the rest of the day.
Day 3
Today, we will head over to Beamish for our visit to the open-air museum, which brings to life the story of North-East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s, each period village of which you will be able to explore by getting on and off one of the many trams that roams the site.
Day 4
After breakfast, we will make our way to Durham to have time at leisure around this picturesque market town.
Day 5
After leaving the hotel, we will make our way to Newcastle to spend some time around this fantastic Northern city. After ample time here sampling the legendary 'Geordie hospitality', we will make our way back to your drop-off point.
