Torquay and the English Riviera

South Devon beckons with Torquay, a classic seaside resort. We begin by boarding a steam train that takes us along a beautiful stretch of coastline to Kingswear, where we board a ferry for Dartmouth. In the afternoon, we take a one-hour cruise to the Royal Naval College, Sir Walter Raleigh's Boathouse, and Greenway Quay! There will be some free time in Plymouth, a historic city known for Sir Francis Drake's expedition to defeat the Spanish Armada at sea. The return journey takes us through Dartmoor National Park, where we can enjoy some breathtaking scenery. We spend the day enjoying the atmosphere, parks, gardens, and everything Torquay has to offer.
