Step into a world of academic excellence, aristocratic grandeur, and quintessential English mystery. This five-day tour takes you through the "City of Dreaming Spires" and into the heart of the Cotswolds, visiting the real-life locations made famous by global television hits and British history.

Explore the lovely counties of Oxfordshire and Wiltshire while wearing your detective hat! We'll spend time in the lovely "city of the dreaming spires," meander through the pretty villages, discover a few hidden gems, and visit one of England's most magnificent stately homes, Blenheim Palace. A guide will accompany you on an excursion through the picturesque little towns, villages, and rolling hills of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, which were used in the filming of Midsomer Murders. A leisurely walking tour of the beautiful university city of Oxford is also included. Finally, we will visit Bampton, the village where much of the outdoor filming for Downton Abbey took place, followed by Bladon Church, where Sir Winston Churchill is buried, and finally the magnificent Blenheim Palace.
