Guarded by Yeoman Warders and home to the Ravens, of whom it is said “if the Ravens leave the Tower, the Tower will fall”, the Tower of London has, during its 1000-year history, been a secure fortress, royal palace, infamous prison, royal mint, and today houses the world-famous collection of Crown Jewels.  Chartwell was the beloved home of Sir Winston Churchill and his wife, Clementine, today the rooms remain much as they were when they lived there. The magnificent hillside gardens reflect Sir Winton’s love of the landscape, and in his studio, a collection of the canvases he painted is displayed. Steeped in over 900 years of history, majestic  Leeds Castle rises majestically from the water of its moat and is surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens.
