The historic county of Kent is renowned, not only for its rural beauty but also has more castles than any other county.  Our holiday showcases some of the fine cheeses produced in the county and we have also chosen to visit Hever Castle and Gardens.  We enjoy the delights of Canterbury, viewing its splendid cathedral and atmospheric medieval streets.  All producers share a great pride in using the finest locally-sourced ingredients for their produce and in using the traditional methods of their crafts.  We enjoy a nostalgic train journey on the Kent and East Sussex Railway, through the unspoilt countryside of the Rother Valley, whilst spending time in Tunbridge Wells and Rochester.
