This journey explores the West Coast of Scotland, including excursions to the picturesque Tobermory Isle of Mull, where you may be lucky enough to see marine species such as dolphins and whales on the ferry passage. Our boat will dock in Craignure, and we will proceed north to the vibrant port town of Tobermory. Takes us to Inveraray Castle, the Duke of Argyll's ancestral castle, which is gorgeous, unusual, and interesting. Fans of Downton Abbey may recall it as Duneagle Castle in the series. Glencoe is a gorgeous location. We go north to the Glencoe Visitors Centre, a magnificent setting that has appeared in several films, including Hagrid's Hut in Harry Potter.

Day 2
After enjoying breakfast, we travel on the morning ferry from Oban over to Isle of Mull. If you are lucky, it is possible to spot marine wildlife such as dolphins and whales on the ferry crossing. Our ferry will dock at Craignure and we take in the sights as we travel north to the colourful harbour town of Tobermory. This harbour was made famous as being the setting for the children's TV show Balamory. We have free time to explore the colourful streets, many independent shops and a chance to enjoy lunch before we return to the mainland.
Day 3
A spectacular sightseeing tour today. We travel southeast to the lovely little, white-washed town of Inveraray. There is time for a look around, obtain a drink and a bite to eat. Maybe try the iron bru ice cream! Our afternoon visit takes us to the magnificent, unique and fascinating Inveraray Castle - the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll. Fans of Downton Abbey may remember it featured as Duneagle Castle in the series
Day 4
After enjoying breakfast today we head north to the Glencoe Visitors Centre where we will learn about the fascinating history of the area. This picturesque location has also been used in many films including Hagrid's Hut in Harry Potter so offers plenty of photo opportunities on the spectacular viewing platform. Later, we return to Oban for free time to explore.
