Our holiday starts in South Devon, which begins at the (grand old) Duke of Cornwall hotel in Plymouth, includes some of the region's oldest attractions set against the backdrop of Dartmoor's wild beauty. We feature Morwellham Quay, which is part of a World Heritage Site that includes the UK's only open copper mine, which is accessible to visitors via a riverside railway, as well as the Mayflower Museum.  Enjoy a one-hour return harbour cruise across Plymouth Sound, past Plymouth Hoe and Drake's Island before arriving at the Royal Naval Dockyard. Explore the city's attractions, including the Plymouth Gin Distillery, which was founded in 1793.
