Lord Leycester Hospital & Sudley Castle

Day 1

Your holiday starts with a pickup from home by one of the vehicles from our Door-to-Door service which will bring you through to meet our coach. We'll make our way to Stratford-upon-Avon so you can spend some time before we check into the hotel

Day 2

A leisurely day at a relaxed pace as we tour the charming Cotswolds. We'll have a stop at the lovely market town of Moreton-in-Marsh before making our way to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest of the Cotswolds towns. Leaving here, we'll have a final stop at the "Jewel of the cotswolds", Broadway with it's picturesque high street.

Day 3

Sudeley Castle and Gardens is our destination today. Surrounded by stunning views of the Cotswold Hills, the setting of Sudeley Castle is breath-taking in itself. The Castle has played an important role in England's history for over 1000 years and the Castle rooms and exhibits contain many fascinating treasures from ancient Roman Times to present day. There are 10 award winning gardens, the centrepiece of which is the Queens Gardens, so named because Anne Boleyn, Katherine Parr, Lady Jane Grey and Elizabeth I once walked upon the original Tudor Parterre. Katherine Parr lies entombed in the beautiful 15th century Church and The Pheasantry houses a collection of 16 rare and endangered species of birds from around the world.

Day 4

Wednesday
We take the short journey to Warwick for our Guided Tour of Lord Leycester Hospital and Grounds. The Lord Leycester is a group of medieval timber-framed buildings dating back to the 14th century and the buildings became a place of retirement for old soldiers, known as Brethren and with the Master, still live within the walls of the building.

Day 5

Leaving the hotel after breakfast, we'll begin our journey to your drop off point where the vehicles from our Door to Door service will be waiting to take you home. A suitable stop will be made around lunchtime.
