Day 2

Free Time Liverpool & Mersey Cruise
After a hearty breakfast, board the world-famous Mersey Ferry for a cruise lasting just under an hour. The River Explorer Cruise offers stunning views of Liverpool's skyline and the River Mersey. The expert recorded commentary, which plays throughout the cruise explains Liverpool's proud maritime history, the city's rich musical heritage and the crucial role Liverpool & the Mersey played during WW1 and WW2. The afternoon is free to roam round this fascinating city, The Liver Building, Cathedral, Royal Albert Docks and its waterfront walks and of course the Beatles story. Both hotels are well located with all the main sights close by

Day 3

Maritime Museum & Guided City Tour
Located within Royal Albert Dockland area, Liverpool's Maritime Museum explores the changing fortunes of the city's docks over the last 300 years. Explore the history of the city's great port, with four floors of galleries, which includes The Border and Customs uncovered gallery, the Emigration gallery, Liverpool World Gateway, the Titanic, Lusitania and Empress of Ireland gallery, the Battle of the Atlantic and the Art and the Sea Gallery. Afterwards, we have arranged for a local guide to join your coach to take you on a city sightseeing tour visiting the city's best bits like Penny Lane, Liverpool FC, Cathedral, Strawberry Fields, The Cavern Club and talk you through the history, music, drama and humour which has made Liverpool what it is today.

Day 4

Through the mersey Tunnel and on to the Wirral, a peninsula between the River Dee and River Mersey. We explore the 22 miles of coastline visiting Hoylake, with its world famous golf course, West Kirkby, Heswall with free time in the 17th century port of Neston to stretch your legs and take in the sea air. The afternoon is spent at Port Sunlight, telling the story of William Lever and his vision in creating this village for workers at his Sunlight Soap factory. Enjoy a guided tour in your coach to discover beautiful architecture, picturesque gardens and parks, and impressive monuments. Step back in time inside the Edwardian Worker's Cottage, admire the beautiful houses and buildings and explore the stunning parkland and gardens around the village.
