Rich in history, the South Coast of England is home to some of the most beautiful and scenic towns and villages in the country. During our five days stay we will be visiting Salisbury – the only city in Wiltshire. Best known for its magnificent cathedral – home to one of four original copies of the Magna Carta – Salisbury is a city of huge historic and cultural value.

 

There will also be excursions to Dorchester and Bridport. Dorchester is a picturesque market town, which lies on the banks of the river Frome and was the home of famous author Thomas Hardy. Bridport is a quaint little market town and was recently used as the location for popular drama ‘Broadchurch’.

As well as the numerous daytrips, you will get the chance to explore Bournemouth itself. Filled to the brim with historical and cultural attractions, Bournemouth is a town knows how to cater for tourists, meaning you won’t be at a loss for things to do.
