Learn about Swansea’s unique heritage on an entertaining and informative Copper Jack Heritage Boat Trip on the River Tawe. You’ll then have free time to explore Swansea on your own.  Join us for a full day guided tour of the stunning scenery of the 18-mile-long Gower Peninsula from Swansea down to Rhossili Bay.  We visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales, set in 568 acres of beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, there are more than 8000 plants from all over the world and highlights include Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse, themed gardens, the Butterfly House and the Bird of Prey Centre.

In a prime quayside location, just a short stroll from the city centre, the Marriott offers spacious, air-conditioned comfortable bedrooms with luxurious bedding, tea/coffee facilities and ironing, facilities. Day 1

Your holiday starts with a pick up from home by one of the vehicles from our Door to Door service which will bring you through to our coach. Suitable stops will be made en-route to Swansea and we'll aim to be at the hotel late afternoon.

Day 2

Learn about Swansea's unique heritage on an entertaining and informative Copper Jack Heritage Boat Trip on the River Tawe. This afternoon, you'll have free time explore on your own. You may wish to visit the National Waterfront Museum where you'll discover the sights and sounds of more than 300 years of Welsh industry and innovation, soak up the atmosphere at the award- winning traditional indoor Swansea market, visit Swansea Castle, the Swansea Museum or simply take a walk around Swansea Bay.

Wednesday

We are joined by our Guide for today and we'll leave Swansea Bay and journey along the 18-mile Gower Peninsula, which in 1956 was the first part of Britain to be declared and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Thursday

Friday

We'll leave the hotel after breakfast and begin our journey home. We'll make suitable stops aiming to arrive at your drop-off point early evening where one of our Door-to-Door vehicles will be waiting to take you home.
