Saved by the intervention of HRH King Charles III in 2007 it combines the architecture of Robert Adam with the furniture of Thomas Chippendale and you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the magnificently restored stunning interiors.  Take a trip on the iconic Falkirk Wheel,  the rotating boat lift designed and built to connect the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal. Enjoy a light lunch during a 90-minute Three Bridges Cruise, giving magnificent views of the Queensferry Crossing, opened in September 2017, the Forth Road Bridge and the UNESCO World Heritage, Forth Bridge. 

 

Radstone Hotel, Larkhall***

A modern hotel standing in its own well maintained lawned grounds offering views across South Lanarkshire’s rolling hills, the 44 comfortable bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and TV. There is a spacious boutique style lounge bar, Opal restaurant and bar. There are 6 steps down to this area. Guests are usually served dinner in a private room. There is a lift.

Day 1

Your holiday starts with a pick up from home by one of the vehicles from our Door to Door service which will bring you through to our coach. We'll make suitable stops en-route to Larkhall and will aim to be at the hotel early evening.

Day 2

A scenic journey this morning as we make our way to the Falkirk Wheel, the only rotating boat lift designed and built to connect the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal which allows coast to coast navigation across central Scotland. Standing at 115ft tall, this iconic structure needs only the power of 8 domestic kettles to sail boats through the air and transfer them between the two canals.

Day 3

This morning, we'll make our way to Queensferry to join our 90-minute Three Bridges Cruise, giving magnificent views of the Queensferry Crossing, opened in September 2017, the Forth Road Bridge and the UNESCO World Heritage, Forth Bridge. During your cruise, you'll enjoy a light buffet lunch.

Day 4

Day 5

We'll leave the hotel after breakfast to begin our journey to your drop off point where the Door to Door service vehicles will be waiting to take you home. We'll make suitable comfort breaks during the journey.
