Cruising Steam & Lavendar of Norfolk

Day 2

This morning we make the journey to England's premier lavender farm Norfolk Lavender, renowned worldwide with nearly 100 acres of lavender under cultivation. We are joined by a guide who will take us on a tour of the facility. We will discover the history of the site, the growing process of lavender and step into the distillery to see how the product is turned into oil. Stroll through the National Lavender Collection where many varieties of lavender are displayed to highlight the characteristic differences.
Later we travel to the historic port of Kings Lynn, where you have the chance to obtain lunch and enjoy free time to explore the city at leisure

Day 3

Today we take you into the city of Norwich where the rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. Take in the sights, enjoy some retail therapy or relax and watch the world go by. The cathedral in Norwich is well worth a visit, as is the cobbled Elm Hill district

Day 4

Today we combine a nostalgic steam train ride with a cruise on the Norfolk Broads. We begin at Aylsham where we join the Bure Valley Railway for the 9 miles ride to Wroxham. At Wroxham we join the boat for a cruise around the Broads. We then travel through some of the delightful Broads villages, such as Woodbastwick, with its miniature green and thatched cottages.
