Chartwell was the beloved home of Sir Winston Churchill and his wife Clementine, today the rooms remain much as they were when they lived there with pictures, books and personal mementos. The magnificent hillside gardens reflect Sir Winton’s love of the landscape and in his studio a collection of the canvasses that he painted are displayed. Spanning 240 acres, enjoy a day at RHS Garden Wisley, the historic home of the RHS and one of the UK’s most visited and best-loved gardens. We visit  “the loveliest castle in the world”, Leeds Castle.  This magnificent 12^th century castle rises majestically from the water of its moat and is surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens.  The Castle has been a Norman stronghold, the home of 6 of England’s medieval queens and a palace used by Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon.
