We combine flavours of these two popular towns famous with their historic wartime connections and the wonderful Christmas Markets. Excellent and moving In Flanders field museum located in the cloth hall makes use of latest technology in its portrayal of the history of the Great War. Visit Menin gate in the evening as we join the enormously poignant Last Post Ceremony. We also visit medieval Bruges with beautiful architecture including the Belfry tower and Church of our Lady – there is so much to enjoy and admire as well as the atmospheric Christmas Market.

4 days / 3 nights

Day 1

We collect you from your front door and meet our holiday coach to get on our way to Dover for a cross channel sailing. We then head to the Ypres our base for 3 nights

Day 2 and 3

We include a visit to Bruges for the Christmas atmosphere, we stay in Ypres so have the opportunity to walk to the Menin Gate for the Last Post ceremony and we include entrance to the Flanders Field Museum too!

Day 4

After early breakfast we return to take our cross channel sailing and then head north and home.
