With a mixture of sea breeze and steam in the air, follow in the footsteps of the Victorians and experience the stunning countryside and coastline on the steam train that runs from Paignton to Kingswear before boarding the Kingswear Castle Paddle Steamer, which is the last coal-fired paddle steamer in operation in the UK today. Enjoy a wave of vintage nostalgia on this circular cruise as you take in the sights of both Kingswear and Dittisham Castles and the Royal Britannia Naval College.

For all its traditional seaside feel with the modern additions of boutiques and restaurants, Torquay has a fascinating wealth of history, not to mention points of geological interest, and this tour explores this to the fullest by transporting you back in time with perfectly suited excursions.

This beautiful three-star family-run seaside hotel, formerly the Russian Royal Family's home in Torquay, sits majestically looking out to sea. The hotel has two-acres of grounds overlooking Meadfoot Beach, with newly built Gallery Luonge and sea-view terrace. The spacious, elegant Romanoff Restaurant has been awarded with an AA Rosette. All befrooms include TV, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryer. The hotel has a lift.
