Discover a rich cultural heritage with stately homes, a day in the capital and a real taste of the Scottish Borders!  We visit the picturesque setting of Abbotsford House and Gardens, which was the inspirational home of Sir Walter Scott.  Arranged is a full-day excursion to the historic and captivating city of Edinburgh, with time to explore so many attractions, including the imposing Castle, the Royal Mile, Princes Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official Scottish residence of the Queen.  Finally, we visit Traquair House, southeast of Peebles, regarded as one of the region's oldest inhabited houses in Scotland.
