The majesty of the Mournes can be felt as soon as they come into view: a sweeping range of grand peaks, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO Global Geopark certainly lives up to this title. We also visit Downpatrick Belfast and the world-famous Giants Causeway There’s nothing modest about Northern Ireland's coastline. Stand on the hills that gently arc this unique place and you’ll look down on thousands of basalt columns tumbling down into the Atlantic Ocean. It’s an epic sight, with a whopping 40,000 or so of these hexagonal-shaped stepping stones, which date back to a volcanic age almost 60 million years ago.

We enjoy an included excursion to Belfast, Northern Ireland's vibrant capital city. With free time here why not visit the Titanic exhibition or perhaps a take a emotive and political Black Cab tour – seeing the murals of the Falls and Shankill Road , or perhaps just take in one of the famous pubs in the city.
