With spring clearly underway, the best way to shake off the winter blues is to enjoy some colourful blooms.
Known as 'the finest woodland gardens in England', Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens are particularly known for their outstanding displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias, bluebells and a beautiful ornamental rock garden, not to mention a mob of free-range wallabies who were first introduced to the grounds in 1889. 
Nyman's Gardens is a garden lover's home for all seasons, with extensive woodland, lovely formal and informal areas, some with stone wall boundaries and others defined by tall hedges.  Ablaze with colour and scent in spring, the gardens are truly magical. 
With a wonderful variety of landscapes and environments, from the quirky Stumpery to the Collector Earl's Garden to the warmth of the Glasshouses, there are explosions of colour, delicate aromas and structural designs to delight all visitors at the still inhabited Arundel Castle and Gardens.
