Officially Scotland's sunniest city, compact Dundee is home to the striking V&A Museum and Discovery Point, which tells the story of RRS Discovery and Captain Scott's amazing Antarctic Expedition.  We enjoy a scenic Scotrail journey to Montrose and visit Glamis Castle, renowned for being Scotland's most beautiful Castle and the childhood home of the Queen Mother.  We head to St Andrews to visit the ruins of St Andrews Castle and the remains of St Andrews Cathedral before spending an afternoon at the beautiful Teasses Estate, for a guided tour by the Head Gardener.

The historical and traditional Scottish mansion house is set in the heart of this tastefully extended hotel, with six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens including the listed Maze and walled garden.  All the bedrooms have premium toiletries, hairdryer, TV and tea/coffee facilities.  Guests have use of the swimming pool, steam room and sauna.  The hotel does not have a lift, but ground floor rooms are available on request.
