We base in Rovinj a charmingly picturesque town with narrow, cobbled streets, striking many visitors as being very Italianate in nature.

This twin centred break includes Slovenia - Bled - With its bluish-green lake, picture-postcard church on an islet, a medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke as backdrops, Bled is Slovenia's most popular resort.

On route we visit Lipica the home of the Lipizzan horse and the biggest Lipizzan stud farm in the world. Experience it in the company of over 300 white Lipizzan horses across more than 300 hectares of green space.

Postojna Caves is a jaw dropping cave system with caverns, halls and passages some 24 km long and 2 millions years old.
