The Royal Deeside is just west of Aberdeen, situated around the River Dee between the beautiful villages of Banchory and Braemar. Deeside is a stunningly beautiful area which should not be missed when you visit Scotland. Aberdeen has it all. Known as Scotland’s Granite City, Aberdeen is full of stunning buildings made from this sparkling stone.

Day 1
After collecting you from your pickup point, we will head North to Scotland with suitable stops en route, arriving at the hotel in plenty of time for you to unpack before the evening meal.
Day 2
Today, we will head out down the banks of the River Dee, visiting the beautiful village of Ballater - once the main spring source for the local water and believed to have healing powers, continuing along the River Dee for a glimpse of the wonderful royal residence of Balmoral Castle and a stop to take some photos of the estate that captured Queen Victoria's heart after a holiday there. After ample time for the photo opportunity, we will make our way to Braemar for some free time around this typical Deeside village hidden deep in the Cairngorms National Park.
Day 3
We will set off to the town of Banchory, which is known as the Gateway to Royal Deeside, giving you free time to explore the town. We will then make our way to the coast, visiting the beautiful seaside resort of Stonehaven, which has cafes and restaurants lining the sandy seafront and picturesque harbour.
Day 4
Today, we will give you the day around Aberdeen to explore the city centre - why not take in a museum or two, or one of the castles, or try a whisky tasting experience?
Day 5
After breakfast, we will make our way home with suitable stops en route back to your drop-off point.
